The Modern Day Classic
Tour Velvet is possibly the most widely used grip in the world ever since it was introduced in the mid-90s. It's become a staple on all professional tours, a favorite of millions of golfers and the grip of choice on new clubs in stores worldwide.
Even though you’ve seen it before, there’s a lot you probably don’t know about Tour Velvet. From its computer designed texture to its state-of-the-art rubber compound to the fact that it was the first Golf Pride grip to feature our now-staple logo on the front side.
A cult favorite.
No introduction is necessary. The Victory hit shelves in 1956 and quickly became a tour favorite over the next decade with its ‘Grip Rite. Swing Rite.’ design, the first of its kind to help players achieve consistent hand placement. Throughout its career, this green and black icon won more major championships than any other grip before being placed into the Golf Pride Hall of Fame in 2006. The Victory remains one of our most storied 🐐 grips today.
The Molded-Rubber grip and the Slip-On are two of the most significant innovations in golf equipment history. Our breakthrough with the molded grip established rubber as the golf grip of the future while the Slip-On golf grip kick started our performance journey. It also created, almost out of thin air, the modern regripping market for both retailers and players alike.
